Every one like stories, I never find a guy or girl who hate
stories. Basically, I am a story lover. Apart from the bedtime stories I use to
lay in my grandfather chest and ask for stories. After him, I use to lay in my grandmother
lap for stories even if they say any reason to avoid me I will help them to
finish their work quickly and ask them to sit for stories. After I had a good
experience on reading books, started reading stories on my own, I am a good
narrator in my home too. Once I was a mentor people use to sit for story than
the subject. Recently I have come across a story which is having the importance
of sharing it. So, I thought to write it in English. For past few days, I didn’t
find time to sit with my lappy but Lincoln said `` don’t wait for opportunity
better create it” I am doing this now. Actually, this is from a Tamil writer
#janakiram. He is an 80’s writer, written many books and stories this is one of
his work. Name of the story is gaandamani which means giant bell this story is
based on a hotel owner and a regular customer Ram.
This hotel is located in the main area where the density of people
is more. So, he uses to get a good number of customer and the quality of food
also tasty and good. One guy his name is ram he uses to take all three-time
food from this hotel and had a good relationship with the owner, one day he came for
breakfast, food was supplied As usual and he also satisfied after having his
breakfast he spoken to the owner for few minutes and left the hotel. Once he
left the hotel, the owner came to know a snake in that gravy and he was
shocked, he didn’t tell to anyone and asked the waiter to stop supplying the
gravy. He found ram is the only guy had that gravy and no one know this other
than the owner. He was happy that found in the initial stage itself but on
the other hand, he was worried about Ram. He was waiting for lunch because Ram
will come for lunch at the same time keep on praying on ram’s health. Actually, Ram
not only his regular customer but also a good and close friend with whom he uses to share his personals. He didn’t come for lunch owner was very worried and
thought something went wrong. In the dinner his friend came he said that his
friend was hospitalised due to dysentery, after hearing this owner felt good
next day morning owner came to know that Ram died. Everyone thought that he
died because of continuous dysentery but the owner only know the reason behind his
died. After hearing this he felt guilty and he can’t sleep days passed but he can’t
come back to normal then he thought to surrender in front of god. So, he
ordered a giant bell and want to the near temple, he gave that bell and prayed god,
by mistake I became the reason for Ram's death so please accept this bell and
forgive me, he prayed. days passed by
but still, he cannot come out of it, because whenever he hears the bell sound it remained
the owner about the death. He felt very bad and he decided not to do any kind
of mistake in the rest of his life. He led his life very carefully but he cont
remove his guilt feel from his life. he conveyed mistakes will hurt u rest of
your life, before doing anything stay and thing whether it is good to do or not,
if it is bad please be away from the thought we don’t have rewind button to
correct the mistake at least think twice before doing anything and live in a
good manner life is once make it peaceful. Be true to yourself .no one can
replace you in this world you should have that kind of courage and if you know
who you are then you won’t do mistakes so find who you are and led a peaceful
life.
