Basically” MANTRA” means a kind of holy word. people
basically use mantras for their prayers or it’s a kind of magical word if u
read any fantasy books you may find this. I am not going to tell u any such words;
I don’t want to fool anyone as people are doing. Recently I came across a term
21 days mantra to change your habit but I didn’t wait there, because those
people are purposely created these terms to cheat people. They are very smart
and intelligent if u stand in front of them for few minutes then u will think
why not to give a try. I keep telling my friends not to trust such people.
Actually speaking every religion having these kinds of
habits. for example: in Hindu, people use to go for Sabarimala which include 41
days of fasting those people use to put a pause for the bad habits.
In case Muslims Ramazan is the period where they use to follow
few regulations, in the same way for Christians in the time of Easter they also
follow the same kind of fasting. Likewise, every religion has its own mantras
but my question is what those people are doing after the fasting?
Did they really follow the same? If the answer is NO, then can
I say that as 41 days of punishment? And
also I don’t want to touch any spiritual things here “beliefs are created or
exist to believe” so, definitely I don’t want to touch it.
I just want to take it another way. Why people are addicted
to certain habits?
I have two scenarios here,
Scenario 1:
A few years back I had a friend personally he is a very good
person. he use to share everything with me. He had a smoking and drinking habit.
he won’t use water if he feels thirsty instead he use to take hot drinks. One
day when we are talking about something he said I am going to quit smoking and
drinking, I was happy and my mind said don’t ask the reason but my heart says
just ask why? Basically, I am one of the people who use to follow their heart and also I just want to know how he can stop
everything from that second.
I asked him how you are thinking that you can control this
habit he simply smiled at me and left.
I thought it’s really
a difficult task and decided to help him.
Next day he came to me. Usually, he use to give centre fresh but
that particular day he said no centre fresh hereafter. Since I gave a big full
stop for smoking. Again I just want to ask the same question but I just controlled
myself. Days passed by, after a few days again I met him he gave me a centre
fresh I thought again he started but I didn’t ask him. He simply started hey! This
is not the one I bought; the shop keeper gave this as change.
I said if it true I am
really happy and asked how you stopped everything
This is what he replied in my young age I started this habit
personally but every time got failed to stop it. I hated myself, I personally
started this habit myself if I don’t want means I have to stop know?
Then I started controlling myself for one month till 20 days it was very difficult
to accept because whenever I see a guy who is smoking on the roadside I felt
like losing my hope it’s the difficult part of my life, I can say. After 30
days that became my habit now, I am completely away from smoking.
Hereafter I can live without drinks and smoke, it gave me the confidence to my life, it added colours to my life.
Then he remained me that I have discussed a scenario a few
days back as a causal talk then I got back the incident.
Scenario 2:
When I was in my 10th standard my class master
wants everyone to study in the early morning and to prove that we need to get a sign from parents. I felt very difficult to wake up in the early morning but I
have to do and I won’t read in the evening or in the other time because always
use to play cricket or use to be with friends. Early morning is the only time I
find myself alone so I can concentrate a little bit. few days I tried hard then
later it became a habit I don’t know how many days it took to make it as a habit,
later in my secondary school, I followed the same. it helped in my college also
even now I use to get a mind alarm early morning every day if I want to wake
early my mind alarm is enough actually.
If u wants to start good things as your hobbit then do that continuously
till it became your habit. If you want to stop something just forget that
particular for few days definitely your mind will forget and you will become a
new person. you yourself can find the difference I just thought to share my
experience and I did it here
